About Us

Redorwhite began in 1999 from a personal interest and passion in good food and wine and a longing for those great daily ingredients that you do take for granted when you live in a country with such a culinary and winery tradition.

I started importing our local foods and wines from Piedmont, my native region and then began sharing them with friends and family. Trips to Italy became more and more frequent and finally redorwhite was established. Although we do not sell just to family and friends anymore, our philosophy hasn't changed.

We still source the finest Italian food made with premium ingredients and according to traditional recipes (in other words, we don't buy anything that we wouldn't eat or drink ourselves!)

Wherever possible we choose products prepared with locally sourced and organically grown ingredients. This means that most of our products are seasonal and some are produced in limited quantities.

We source our products from small artisan producers that share our love for quality and authenticity. Some of them are followers of the Slow Food movement and use ingredients from Slow Food presidiums.

We take great care in selecting each product, something that we do personally during our various trips to Italy.

Although quality is the main priority when sourcing our products we also pay particular attention to the way food is presented and packed. Most of our products' packaging is the testimony of their history and tradition. We are also aiming to work with our suppliers to try to reduce non recyclable packaging to a minimum.

We have participated at the Speciality and Fine Food Fair in London for several years and supply specialised shops and food halls in London and throughout the U.K. As well as the wholesale business we supply hampers and gifts for corporate clients.

We are committed to deliver excellent products and service to all our customers.
